Medium volume
Large format scanners

Higher volume scanners

The scanners shown in this section are best suited for daily volumes in excess of 1000 pages per day.  The term “higher” volume is our own description and attempts to identify scanners which would best suit the typical larger office setup.  We have intentionally not included the “production” level scanners within this group (to discuss heavy duty scanners in more detail, please ring / email us for an unbiased viewpoint).

There are many manufacturers providing a wide array of scanners in this category.

For simplicity, we have broken them into A4 & A3 variants.

We have deliberately excluded what we class as “Production Level Scanners” - These tend to process at speeds greater than 100ppm ( & for daily volumes in the 10’s of thousands).  We would be happy discuss their merits (& shortcomings) but only when we have a feel for the underlying process that you need to manage.

Some of the scanners have ADF Feeder units with a built-in flatbed;  some have the option to attach a “tethered” flatbed (can be done retrospectively); others are ADF feed units only.

We review / explain / recommend only after we have a proper feel for your requirements.
